DARKNESS, AND THE DARKNESS
COMPREHENDED IT NOT.”

Reader: At this early stage, the TABLE OF CONTENTS should have revealed to you the no-nonsense reality of the subject matter of this Work. It should therewith have shown you what we alluded to on the very first page.
And the Text ---- “Once to Every Man and Nation” ---- sets in stone the seriousness of “choosing” the Light of Life over the “dark” proclivities now inextricably embedded in all global societies.
The critical gravity of such a “choice” can be extrapolated from the conjoining of just two profound statements. One is the Divine Warning- Admonition we read at the head of this page. The other is of human origin, and it is this:
“It is not the truth that lies with the masses, but the
untruth.
The “crowd” is the untruth!”
From the Danish philosopher, Kierkegaard, it very succinctly, and presciently, gives us the earthly connection to the first. So, let’s put them together.
An obvious polarisation can be recognised here. One is Light, the other is Darkness! Darkness cannot illuminate itself or, indeed, anything else for that matter; and certainly cannot “illuminate” Light. Only Light can illuminate! Thus, only The Light can illuminate the Darkness.
First stated by John, the Disciple of Jesus; The Light that shone in the Darkness then was The Light of God that Shone forth from Jesus, The Son!
Whipped up by Caiaphas, most of the “official body” of the Sanhedrin “Comprehended it Not...!” Agitated further by the key player, Caiaphas, the masses that 2,000 years shouted, “Crucify Him” ------------ also “Comprehended it Not...!” Thus, the truth of Kierkegaard’s profound testimonial: “The Crowd is the Untruth”!
With the entry of The Spirit of Truth onto the earth; for the very last time in human history The Light once more Shone into the Darkness of our human-created societies. This time, however, the Darkness had a far larger “human crowd” at its disposal. The masses had not only grown exponentially, but the “Crowd”, which since the time of Jesus has not changed in its opposition to all that enlightens and ennobles, had voluntarily become much darker, and therefore did not, could not, “Comprehend The Light” in its midst.
In the fulfilment of just one of the many warning prophecies about His arrival: “He would come like a thief in the night”; of the “Chosen” who long ago pledged a vow to serve Him on earth and who were precisely placed to do so; most were blinded by the temptations of “the world” ---so tragically did not serve! It was always “our duty” to be sufficiently “spiritually awake” so that we would recognise Him and the Divine Truth He brought.
Thus, in concert with the prophecy of Isaiah 2,800 years ago that not the masses but “only the few would know” so, too, was the very essence of the great prophecy of John fulfilled in our time vis-à-vis:
THE LIGHT OF THE “SPIRIT OF TRUTH” SHONE IN
THE DARKNESS OF THE 20TH CENTURY,
AND WE, THE EARTHLY MASSES:
“COMPREHENDED HIM NOT”!
