CATHOLICISM, THE VATICAN, AND ITS “CHURCH”!
For well over a thousand years, the appalling and arrogant machinations of the Catholic Church and its Popes is indelibly burned into history, for under its Inquisition it records the torture and murder of at the very least hundreds of thousands, perhaps even millions, of the innocent; the agonising deaths of which were all perpetrated in the actual Name of God. The Divine Message of “greater Love hath no man” did not find a “home of Love” in Catholicism.
In addition, the appalling arrogance of the “storm-troopers” of successive Popes were responsible for the complete destruction of some cultures, and certainly the decimation of those and other populations upon which they “forced their religion”. The resultant outcome was the large amount of knowledge of and about “native” cultures of Central and South America, especially, that was effectively expunged from history.
The 21st century for the most part deplores the quite stupid actions of Islamic extremists when they obliterate great and beautiful buildings and works of art dedicated to a higher religious paradigm than their own distinct and quite insane brand of “tribal, Koranic, religiosity”. Yet is that any different to the actions of Jesuits in the New World?
In Catholicism’s case, Divine Truths were distorted and then subsequently used to subjugate and control the masses under the fear of “excommunication” ----- as if ordinary human beings could ever have the right or authority to do so ------ in meaningless, aspiritual “ritual”. Were it not for the blood and torture that is Catholicism’s true legacy, it all might be likened to some sort of modern computer game, but it definitely was not! Catholicism also records the use of poison and the blade in “Pope against Pope” more than once or twice.
Two great and fearless men strove to bring honesty and spiritual accountability to “the Church” --- Martin Luther, and the “33 day Pope”. Both were hounded; the first into exile under sentence of death, and the other to a premature and clearly suspicious death only one night before he was about to completely “shake-up” the “church” and Catholicism on a global scale and, in particular, remove certain “high rankers” in the Catholic Church of the U.S.
His election to “Pope-hood” was seen by many outside Catholicism as a clear sign that, by High Ordination, he was placed there in “the Church” to finally bring honesty and accountability to what is clearly ---- in distorted dogma and ritual ---- an organisation that actually “sets itself above GOD”!
