Example: The Historical Intransigence of the Jews
In a lengthy process of divination, the long line of Jewish Prophets incrementally instructed the Tribes of Israel in the knowledge of The Law in a step-by-step process to a degree sufficiently durable to permit them to become the very first people and nation to recognise The One Invisible God. Their long history records that when they obeyed their Prophets and The Law, they prospered.
In stark contrast, when they disobeyed (as the “stiff-necked people”), they were heavily punished, and sometimes enslaved. When they committed their greatest transgression, the Roman General, Titus, [who later became Emperor] rode his horse into the temple, completely destroyed the ‘supposedly-holy’ city, and slaughtered the inhabitants virtually to a man. The whole Jewish Religious Authority of the day ceased to exist.
The Holy of Holies was lost to the Jews forever, and the remnant scattered across the globe: A hard price to pay for the most heinous of crimes and which, to this day, the Jews refuse to acknowledge the Truth of. So, more heartache will yet be experienced by the “chosen people” until a genuine awakening occurs, or the possibility is removed for all time.
That is a clear and documented example and lesson that all human beings should really try to understand. Obey HIS LAW first, not human law. ----------
That is the Primary Premise, and that reality will “drive” the content and analyses of the main part of this Work. To restate once more in necessary reinforcement: The Primary Premise therefore centres on what we state to be inviolable fact: That there is a long-prophesied Spirit of Truth Who, because of His Origin, inherently possesses what is known as The All-Truth. So, a body of Truth and knowledge that far transcends the very small amount of knowledge and discovery that we humans intellectually laud as being extensive, and even advanced. Human ‘knowledge’ -– a ‘contradiction in terms’ in this case –- does not even begin to approach that which comprises the actual ALL-TRUTH!
It is thus also the “Ultimate Force” of “Absolute Truth” that all religions, especially, will recognise as precisely that as they all track towards their horrendous demise. How do we know this? Simple; the whole thrust of Its entry into the Material World was signalled 2,000 years ago in a severe prophetic warning that: “Only the few would know.”
The many would therefore continue to cling to their religions, doctrines and in the best case, ‘lesser truths’, even as the few [including this writer] were mercifully granted recognition of The Whole!
[Despite what we have just proclaimed as an inviolable Truth in itself, it is nonetheless probably difficult for most to accept, for the religions of man have done their job well. However, as we thread our way towards more definitive statements over the course of the book, detailing the knowledge of the great questions to life will mean that you, reader, should really begin to discern that the deeper insights into those great questions can only derive from a Source far greater than all our many reference libraries put together. Thus, in the end, TRUTH will win out!]
In terms of the Origin and Nature of The Spirit of Truth, the analyses that are required to effect a determination as to His Identity, will necessarily track through the main tenets and doctrines of Islam, Christianity, and Judaism, and also into the world of science, philosophy and ‘Elemental Lore’.
Here, we have stated an absolute --– as the religion of Islam has, and Christianity believes it has. Now, insofar as the Title is concerned, the Christian reader, especially, should note that placing Islam before Christianity does not represent any kind of favouritism on the part of this author for Islam. It is due to the simple fact that Islam’s stated claim –- according to eminent Koranic scholars such as Maulana Muhammad Ali -– is that it alone has the right to be the sole religion for all of global humanity. And, therefore, any other main rival or claimant for ownership of a Spirit of Truth --- in this case Global Christendom and Judaism --- must be opposed.
So, despite the fact that Islam emerged long after the beginnings of Christianity, we have placed Islam first in the Title because it is Islam that seeks to rule global religion.
That is why “ownership” of Him --- The Spirit of Truth --- would provide absolute legitimacy for Global Islamism. For Islam and its roughly 1.5 + billion Muslim followers, the whole exercise this book represents is probably pointless, for in their unshakeable conviction their religion already has that legitimacy --- in the person of their prophet, Muhammad.
Nonetheless, despite that belief of Muslims world-wide, under the inviolable Mandate of Direct Ordination, and united with the aegis of “Guides- unseen”, we will still go through this extensive examination and assessment. For there are many other people on planet earth; some of whom might really want to know.
To that end then, let’s assume the position of all religions and most of the rest of humanity in believing He is yet to arrive, but not knowing when. The seemingly unbridgeable chasm that ‘splits’ the two major religions, in the end can be characterised by just one key point or claim, which is what this Work primarily addresses, and which we once more state --- and will reinforce often throughout. It is the great difference in interpretation of Who, or perhaps What, The Spirit of Truth actually is. Long-prophesied to come to earth or, in some interpretations, to return to earth, many ‘scholars’ of both religions have pondered over what such an entity might be. Even the major Documentary Channels have engaged with this ostensible ‘impending-event’ notion.
Purely for the purpose of this brief exercise, is it an ‘amorphous entity’ that makes an appearance to perhaps “radiate” truth and knowledge, or is it, or will it be, an actual person or Higher Being ‘incarnated in the flesh’ and, of course, to be recognised by all? If we assume or accept that it will be an actual person, has this ‘Event’ already taken place as Islam claims, or is it yet to occur as Global Christendom asserts, and which Christians eagerly await. The fundamentalist elements in both Christianity and Islam have no doubts in their determination as to Who it is. However, the question of when His actual appearance or incarnation was/is to occur or be revealed; that really is perhaps the greatest point of difference.
A further connective but chasm-inducing aspect of this ‘religious conflict’ is the perceived or even ‘stated’ nature of God and His “Messengers”, for they drive the ‘faith-paradigm’ of the two religions. One, Christianity, has at its core, a One God and a Son of God, Jesus!
The other, Islam, also has a One God, named Allah, but in place of a Son of that God, a Prophet, Muhammad. Because Christianity was founded on the belief (a completely wrong one) that Jesus is the actual and only Son of God, Christianity therefore rates its position as the highest of all the religions. Its early inception and later expansion into ‘Global’ Christendom is upheld as stemming from the Teachings of Jesus.
Islam, on the other hand, claims ascendancy over all other religions by virtue of Muhammad being designated as the ‘Last Prophet of God’ and receiving the Koran verbatim therefrom through the Archangel, Gabriel. Jesus is stated to be not a Son of God, but just the son of Mary. He is regarded as a Prophet also, but not as elevated as Mohammed. There stands an unbridgeable chasm as long as “religion” holds sway on earth.
The truly curious thing here is that in clear and perhaps brutal logic, it is simply not possible for there to be two positions. If -– and this word if is purely for the purposes of this immediate discussion for it does not reflect this writer’s personal view on this matter –- both religions claim ‘rightness’ for their cause, then we must all assume that The Spirit of Truth they both lay claim to is so mundane that It/He appears, returns, to simply be “denominational”; to choose, or be captured by, an earthly religion. That would seem to be a very foolish and dangerous thing to believe, given the stated belief from ‘both sides’ that such a Being can only come from the very “Highest Realm”. So illogical a notion.
So, can we really believe, as Islam claims, that an earthly religion was created by GOD as a religion specifically tailored for The Spirit of Truth to be the “head” of? Claiming ownership of such a Being --- Whose origins must obviously be from a far Higher, non-material Realm --- by humans living at the very lowest level of Creation in the Material World, is difficult to reconcile. The historical record, however, demonstrates time and again that human beings really do believe they are somehow worthy of that degree of elevation.
Now, a comparative analysis of two of the world’s major religions, Christianity and Islam, show that they must rely primarily on the interpretations that ‘scholars’ of both religions will bring to their respective ‘faiths’. However, as with all religions historically, fracturing of the original belief, along with the inevitable loss and/or destruction of at least part of the original Verses and Scriptures, inevitably produces splintered offshoots, thereby compounding and seriously compromising the ‘integrity’ of what might once have been considered “pristine”. All translators, of course, will deem their interpretation the most correct, or at least the best, but ‘splitting away’ usually means ‘just one more’.
Despite Islam’s global and overall avowal that the religion was delivered verbatim so that it is pristinely whole, indivisible, and perfect to the present day, that is simply not the case.
If it truly were, then Koranic scholars could not possibly have so many different ideas about the history of the religion and who were given this part or that, and who died taking what they knew or were told to their graves , and so on.
That is the hard reality. So neither Islam nor Christianity can lay claim to being one single, perfectly united, religious entity. Both fractured a long time ago.
In that context, a detailed undertaking of this nature could easily run into Volumes. Millions of words in probably thousands of publications have looked at the monotheistic religions and their differences. However, where our analyses of the two religions in question differ markedly is in access to two major sources that will be revealed in their fullness further on, and which add immeasurable weight and support to this debate.
Both, however, stand separate from the Bible and the Koran -– and the Torah. Of course, those humanly-esteemed Works will be heavily represented in order to notate in wording from the respective Scriptures and Verses what the actual differences between Christianity and Islam are.
