DISCOURSE 3
ISAIAH – ‘PROCLAIMER’
OF:
THE “SPIRIT OF TRUTH”
ISAIAH: Hebrew Yesha `yahu (“God is Salvation”) c 800 BC – c 701BC
ISAIAH: The “Great Prophet”.
ISAIAH: Proclaimer of THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH
ISAIAH: Proclaimer of HIS NAME
Reader: At the very beginning, we framed this Work with the key prophecies of the “Great Prophet”, Isaiah! We did so because, of all the many Prophets common to the Old Testament era --- with some of the same also common to the “big three” of monotheism --- to Isaiah was revealed what heads this Discourse! As such, he thus stands as the “key connection” between Divine Revelation and the Proclamation of the entry of The “Spirit of Truth” onto the earth. In addition, not only that truly stupendous Event, but the time-frame in which it was Ordained to occur. Thus was earthly humanity in the 20th century truly “Graced” by that “Happening”. And yet, as Isaiah himself saw and so prophesied: “Only the few would recognise --- and thus know!”
Noting the clear reality of Isaiah’s Calling to so Prophesy and Proclaim, the truly strange paradox is that despite the fact that Islam believes it has the right to lay first claim to Ownership of The “Spirit of Truth”, in the Koran itself there is no mention of Isaiah. Neither are there any references to him in general Islamic commentary, even in essays about the great Patriarchs of the Old Testament. Yet he was an especial and key Prophet of God. The resultant non-acceptance, or perhaps even denial of his especial place in the line of the Prophets of God by Islam, means that the over one billion adherents of the religion have also been denied the singularly-crucial Prophecy for all of humanity at this End-Time!
From that short Introduction, let’s now look at a number of different sources and really learn what we can about this remarkable man and truly “Great Prophet”!
