DISCOURSE 38

PROBLEM “TENETS” OF THE
MUSLIM FAITH

• NO MIRACLES ACCOMPANIED HIS BIRTH.
• DID NOT CAST A SHADOW.
• COULD NOT READ OR WRITE

Reader: Now we begin to get into the heart of what really happened in the Life of Mohammed. If you read and understood the earlier Discourse on the Akashic Record, that understanding from hereon will greatly expand your horizons. Whilst there are many “myths” about Mohammed and his Prophetship, here we have three “tenets” for this one Discourse. Others will be examined, but under their own individual Discourse Headings. So: How can the impossible “be made possible”?

Well; insofar as we human beings are concerned it is really quite simple. In a very strange paradox, especially where “religion” is concerned, it has always been easier for human beings to believe in the impossible rather than the clear and logical possible. As well as good intuition, the possible and natural requires more “brain power” to understand those realities correctly, and thereby place them in their proper context in both the earthly and spiritual paradigms, and thus ultimately in their correct place in Creation.

The “foolish” and the “impossible” do not require any thought at all; just “blind acceptance”, usually accompanied, however, by a certain religious smugness of superiority, and thus a “looking down” on those who aren’t as clever and aware. Actually, “blind acceptance” is really just plain and simple “blind ignorance”.

Now there are certain main ‘tenets’ or beliefs of the Muslim faith that seem to have been formulated to lock in place a particular overall narrative. Those very illogical “problem tenets” are what we will concentrate on because they very subtly and deviously attempt to elevate Mohammed to the status of a “miracle man”, the more to ostensibly ensure a place in the history of the world that he could not possibly, and therefore does not, occupy.

Moreover, Mohammed knew that about himself as he undertook to fulfil his Divinely-Ordained mission. But that is the nature of “followers of prophets”. Their prophet must be the greatest of all; greater than all others, and the final deliverer of the “final truth”.

Just as it is with Mohammed today, so was it with Krishna, Lao-Tse, Buddha, Zoroaster, and, of course, even Jesus. Latterly, Bahaullah --- named by his followers as the “One Who was to Come”. Even the Rev. Sun Myung Moon has been accorded that title by his millions of faithful followers; all convinced that he really was The Son of Man.

Of course, in order to fulfil their expectations, Rev. Moon had to be alive when the great announcement and subsequent “global recognition” was supposed to have occurred. Unfortunately, Rev. Moon --- who, by the way, absolutely believed that he was the “Risen Christ” --- suddenly died and “spoilt the whole silly party”.

His early years of imprisonment and torture where he never renounced his faith are certainly noteworthy. For that reason he might well have been one of Imanuel’s Associates but was not sufficiently “spiritually-awake” to make the necessary recognition of Whom he was to serve, not for the world to serve him.

So his extended family group, self-designated as the “Divine Royal Family”, was suddenly no longer graced with the presence of the “returned Messiah” to announce to the world: A comparison of truly monumental stupidity by not only his immediate family, but by the associated and large flock of blind, religious “human sheep”. Remember the words of Imanuel, reader: “Conceit is already stupidity!”

What we will now examine very intently in this Discourse are a few of what we term:

“PROBLEM TENETS” OF THE MUSLIM FAITH!

There are others that we will seriously examine, too; but they concern the deeper problematic aspects of the Muslim faith, for they bring into question all that the religion promulgates about Mohammed and what he was supposed to have said.

For this particular Discourse we will look at three beliefs that are either problematic for Islam, completely impossible, and/or just plain wrong. The First in the list however, we will pay more attention to!

• ASHTINAME OF MUHAMMAD
• NO MIRACLES ACCOMPANIED HIS BIRTH.
• DID NOT CAST A SHADOW.
• COULD NOT READ OR WRITE

The following Titles that you read at the beginning of this PART IV B are profound in terms of their proclamatory nature, so in order to do them true justice, they have their own individual Discourses. A reminder of what they are:

MOHAMMED’S RECOGNITION OF JESUS: a brutal “revelation” for islam!
MOHAMMED’S JOURNEY TO JERUSALEM: a natural happening
MOHAMMED’S PROCLAMATION OF THE “TWO SONS” OF GOD AND THE “TRINITY”.
ALI’S “FIERCE AND WELL-TRAINED” ARMY ---- gifts in paradise?
MOHAMMED PROCLAIMS THE “SON OF MAN”: --- THE ACTUAL “SPIRIT OF TRUTH” --- TO MUSLIM ARABIA!
THE “SPLIT” IN ISLAM --- EVEN BEFORE THE PROPHET’S DEATH: --- the battle for successorship in his “earthly family”!
THE “FINAL” WORDS TO THE PROPHET, MOHAMMED: MOHAMMED’S “FINAL” WORDS TO THE PEOPLE!
THE TRAGIC AND “UNPARDONABLE” AFTERMATH! not the “final religion” for “the world”

Two of the tenets/beliefs in the first list, by which fundamentalist Islamists attempt to confer on Mohammed some kind of special nature, we will examine “just for the record”. Notwithstanding what we know we are going to find, how you, the Muslim reader deals with it is, of course, your concern! What we bring to your attention we will also relegate to the place that, by its degree of impossible nonsense, it must, in strict accordance with Divine Law, commensurately occupy.

The Fourth Tenet, however, we have given much more attention, for it brings to life the Truth about Mohammed. So for that particular tenet and for the primary “Declaratory” list; from out of the long-distant past Mohammed’s words will come to life! Exposed for the Islamic world more especially; they are sourced from the book:

MOHAMMED

LIFE AND WORK OF THE FORERUNNER IN ARABIA

Received in the proximity of Abd-ru-shin
through the special gift of
one Called for the purpose.

So; from the Akashic Record’s ‘Eternal content’, you will finally know what Mohammed, the Prophet for Arabia actually said. We obviously cannot simply reprint the whole of that source as it is a complete book on its own. Being the record of Mohammed’s life from childhood to his Calling, and thence to his service and mission for “The Light” and finally to his death and the tragic aftermath of infighting amongst the so-called “Islamic faithful” even at that ridiculously-early time; the excerpts we will cull from it should be more than enough to finally awaken 21st century Islam to its terrible distortion of their Prophet’s great mission!

However, before we begin those analyses, we are going to look at the text of a document known as the Ashtiname of Muhammad. The content would probably not sit well with most Muslims because it is a very different Mohammed that is revealed in that text. It is not the Mohammed of long-centuries of Islamic “conditioning” of the Muslim masses. Thus: The Ashtiname of Muhammad.

Background!

Also known as the Covenant or Testament (Testamentum) of Muhammad (the Islamic Prophet); it is a document which is a charter or writ ratified by the Islamic prophet Muhammad granting protection and other privileges to the followers of Jesus the Nazarene, given to the Christian monks of Saint Catherine’s Monastery. It is sealed with an imprint representing Muhammad’s hand.
According to the monk’s tradition, Muhammad frequented the monastery and had great relationships and discussions with the Sinai fathers.
Several certified copies are displayed in the library of St Catherine, some of which are witnessed by the judges of Islam to affirm historical authenticity. The monks claim that during the Ottoman conquest of Egypt in the Ottoman-Mamluk war (1516-17), the original document was seized from the monastery by Ottoman soldiers and taken to Sultan Selim I’s palace in Istanbul for safekeeping. A copy was then made to compensate for its loss at the monastery. It also seems that the charter was renewed under the new rulers, as other documents in the archive suggest. Traditions about the tolerance shown towards the monastery were reported in governmental documents issued in Cairo and during the period of Ottoman rule (1517-1798), the Pasha of Egypt annually reaffirmed its protections. In 1916, Na’um Shugayr published the Arabic text of the Ashtiname in his Turkish Sina al-qadim or History of Ancient Sinai. The Arabic text, along with its German translation, was published for a second time in 1918 in Bernhard Moritz’s Beiträge zur Geschichte des Sinai-Klosters.

The Testament et pactiones inter Mohammedan et Christianae fidei cultores, which was published in Arabic and Latin by Gabriel Sionita in 1630 represents a covenant between the Prophet Muhammad and the Christians of the World. It is not a copy of the Ashtiname. The origin of the Ashtiname has been the subject of a number of different traditions, best known through the accounts of European travellers who visited the monastery. These authors include the French Knight Greffin Affargart (d. c. 1557), the French traveller Jean de Thevenot (d. 1667) and the English prelate Richard Peacocke, who included an English translation of the text.
Since the 19th century, several aspects of the Ashtiname, notably the list of witnesses, have been questioned by scholars. There are similarities to other documents granted to other religious communities in the Near East. One example is Muhammad’s letter to the Christians of Najran, which first came to light in 878 in a monastery in Iraq and whose text is preserved in the Chronicle of Seert.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

So, reader: That is the “official” history of the Ashtiname. Now, whilst that is the historical account of the Document, it does not at all give us the reason why Mohammed decided that a “Charter of Protection” for Christians was necessary --- and perhaps “the right thing to do”. Well, let us find out why he felt that Christians of that time-period were worth protecting!

ASHTINAME OF MUHAMMAD

The Document

English Translation of the Ashtiname by Anton F. Haddad

This is a letter which was issued by Muhammad, Ibn Abdullah, the Messenger, the Prophet, the Faithful, who is sent to all people as a trust on the part of God to all His creatures, that they may have no plea against God hereafter. Verily God is Omnipotent, the Wise. This letter is directed to the embracers of Islam, as a Covenant given to the followers of Jesus the Nazarene in the East and West, the far and near, the Arabs and foreigners, the known and the unknown.

This letter contains the oath given unto them, and he who disobeys that which is therein will be considered a disbeliever and a transgressor to that whereunto he is commanded. He will be regarded as one who has corrupted the oath of God, disbelieved His Testament, rejected His Authority, despised His religion, and made himself deserving of His Curse, whether he is a Sultan or any other believer of Islam. Whenever Christian monks, devotees and pilgrims gather together, whether in a mountain or valley, or den, or frequented place, or plain, or church, or in houses of worship, verily we are [at the] back of them and shall protect them, and their properties and their morals, by Myself, by My Friends and by My Assistants, for they are My Subjects and under My Protection.

I shall exempt them from that which may disturb them; of the burdens which are paid by others as an oath of allegiance. They must not give anything of their income but that which pleases them --- they must not be offended or disturbed, or coerced or compelled. Their judges should not be changed or prevented from accomplishing their offices, nor the monks disturbed in exercising their religious order, or the people of seclusion be stopped from dwelling in their cells.

No one is allowed to plunder these Christians, or destroy or spoil any of their churches, or houses of worship, or take any of the things contained within these houses and bring it to the houses of Islam. And he who takes away anything therefrom, will be one who has corrupted the oath of God, and, in truth, disobeyed His Messenger.

Jizya should not be put upon their judges, monks, and those whose occupation is the worship of God; nor is any other thing to be taken from them, whether it be a fine, a tax or any unjust right. Verily I shall keep their compact, wherever they may be, in the sea or on the land, in the East or West, in the North or South, for they are under My Protection and the testament of My Safety, against all things which they abhor.

No taxes or tithes should be received from those who devote themselves to the worship of God in the mountains, or from those who cultivate the Holy Lands. No one has the right to interfere with their affairs, or bring any action against them. Verily this for aught else and not for them; rather in the season of crops, they should be given a Kadah for each Ardab of wheat (about five bushels and a half) as provision for them, and no one has the right to say to them ‘this is too much’, or ask them to pay any tax.

As to those who possess properties, the wealthy and the merchants, the poll-tax to be taken from them must not exceed twelve drachmas a head per year (i.e. about 200 modern day US dollars).

They shall not be imposed upon by anyone to undertake a journey, or to be forced to go to wars or to carry arms; for the Muslims have to fight for them. Do not dispute or argue with them, but deal according to the verse recorded in the Quran, to wit: ‘Do not dispute or argue with the People of the Book but in that which is best [29:46]. Thus they will live favoured and protected from everything which may offend them by the Callers to religion (Islam), wherever they may be and in any place they may dwell.

Should any Christian woman be married to a Muslim, such marriage must not take place except after her consent, and she must not be prevented from going to her church for prayer. Their churches must be honoured and they must not be withheld from building churches or repairing convents.

They must not be forced to carry arms or stones; but the Muslims must protect them and defend them against others. It is positively incumbent upon every one of the followers of Islam not to contradict or disobey this oath until the Day of Resurrection and the end of the world.

Modern influence

Some have argued that the Ashtiname is a resource for building bridges between Muslims and Christians. For example, in 2009, in the pages of The Washington Post, Muqtedar Khan translated the document in full, arguing that,

Those who seek to foster discord among Muslims and Christians focus on issues that divide and emphasize areas of conflict. But when resources such as Muhammad’s promise to Christians is invoked and highlighted it builds bridges. It inspires Muslims to rise above communal intolerance and engenders goodwill in Christians who might be nursing fear of Islam or Muslims.

The Ashtiname is the inspiration for The Covenants Initiative which urges all Muslims to abide by the treaties and covenants that were concluded by Muhammad with the Christian communities of his time.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Ordinarily, as the above well-intentioned opinion notes; if there were “across-the-board” Muslim acceptance of the Ashtiname, the document might well have had the effect of “engendering goodwill” between those “two” of the “big three”. Unfortunately, in terms of the latter-day fear-factor engendered by quite religiously-insane Islamic extremists against any and everyone who is not of “the faith”, that was never going to happen.

Even though heralded with much fanfare about “building bridges” between the two “faiths etc., and with all the pomp and ceremony that Heads of State are accorded, the Pope’s quite recent visit to Iraq was never going to bring the religions any closer. One word: How?

In truth, that is now a forever-impossibility. Why would we say that? For surely, isn’t any dialogue better than none in this 21st century of very sick societies? Well, despite Mohammed’s Mission to unite the mediaeval Arabian tribes in a completely new faith, he was nonetheless well-versed in both the Jewish and Christian beliefs.

Reader, as you will shortly learn, while still a young boy he dismissed the Jewish religion. The Christian religion centred on Jesus, however, was a very different matter for Mohammed. as you will also shortly learn. His “Covenant” reflected the knowledge of the true meaning of Christianity --- which true followers of Christ should have kept.

Now let us examine two strange religious tenets of Islam that Muslims seemingly hold as somehow sacrosanct.

NO MIRACLES ACCOMPANIED HIS BIRTH.

We have a question about this one. Why would a religious doctrine, ostensibly received “verbatim from God”, promulgate this particular tenet for the world? I think we can offer a probable reason. Since there is clear competition at the earthly level for global religious supremacy, the only viable “competitor” to Islam is Christianity, of which the life of Jesus holds primacy, and Whose Life and Mission produced many “miracles”.

However, in this rather silly but foolishly-dangerous “game” of “religious one-up-man-ship”, what is lost on both “competing religions” is the fact that, despite the inane belief of global Christendom in their so-wrong promulgation about the birth of Jesus; as we hammered in PART I of the Work: No miracles accompanied His birth.

So Islam: There is no need for you to pound that theme in the case of Mohammed as some kind of religious, “reverse-psychology” claim; quite simply because it is wrong! Even the totally stupid idea that as a child Jesus was supposed to make ‘clay birds fly”, is mooted in the musings of your imams and Islamic “scholars”.

All earthly births --- irrespective of who, or WHO, is to be born --- can only take place under strict and immutable Divine Laws of Creation! No Law-changes to suit silly, earthly religious expectations or beliefs here, people!

Right, reader: That is more than enough of that foolish ---- “whatever”!

DID NOT CAST A SHADOW.

Well, Reader: How do supposedly intelligent human beings determine that such a thing could be possible? Of course, there is nothing in the Akashic Record on the life of Mohammed that might even remotely suggest such a thing. In truth it cannot, for the “Chronicle” exists under the aegis of Divine Creation-Law, so will not have that kind of impossible rubbish as part of its content.

In any case, I personally cannot accept that the whole Muslim world really believes this Tenet. The “Golden Age” of Islam, when mathematics, astronomy and not a little reason were the hallmarks of the religion then, would never have sanctioned such a belief. If that is the case today, however, then the religion really has regressed to a point of being on its last legs.

Poor Mohammed. Born to a woman of earth into an everyday, dense physical/material body of bones, blood and flesh, yet somehow that dense envelope which enabled him to exist on earth “did not cast a shadow”. From his present place in a Higher Realm, what must he be thinking with rubbish like that being spread about him “down here”, and from the very group of human beings who should know better?

Instead of holding his teachings as they really were given to “him”, all that is left is crass interpretation after crass interpretation, ultimately leading to silly medieval, tribal superstitions like this one.

Everything composed of solid material casts a shadow --- full stop! Reader, I do not even know why we are even bothering with this one, but there it is!

COULD NOT READ OR WRITE.

In Mohammed’s case, or more correctly in Muslim beliefs about him; the second major Tenet and myth accorded to him that we will look at is the “Islamic mantra” that the Prophet “could not read or write”. Now, reader: Why would Islam be so vociferous in its insistence that such was the case?

Let us hazard a guess! Firstly, the notion that an illiterate person from a desert tribe and ancient Arabian lineage could be “called by God” to bring His Truth to the whole world through the Arabian peoples, ostensibly elevates Mohammed’s status in the eyes of Muslims. For if such a person is illiterate, anything and everything he receives from an Archangel of God must then be absolute in truth and finality ---- simply because such a person does not have the requisite “academic” ability or insight to either question or alter what he receives.

So the content is deemed to be pristine --- thus verbatim from God --- and through an Archangel --- Gabriel! There is the cleverness of what is really a terrible lie, and ultimately against the very Ordination of The Almighty Himself! So it is really not clever at all, it is just devious and very dangerous.

Of course, we could accept another version; that Mohammed could not read in the beginning, and that he was commanded to read ---- or to learn to read. Solely from the standpoint of the “faithful Muslim believer”, however; even if that were the case, the notion that he was illiterate when receiving the content of the Koran would stand as the “greater miracle”.

What does Islamic scholar, M.M. Ali say? Let us read his Introduction to Chapter 96, The Clot.

‘The first five verses of this chapter are by universal admission the first revelation which the Holy Prophet received. The Chapter is called The Clot because of the statement made in the second verse that Allah created man from a clot of blood, which contains a hint that, as a beautiful human form is evolved out of such a humble origin, even so the Prophet would raise humanity to the greatest eminence morally and spiritually.’

Whilst the Koran might notate the beginning of human-life on earth as a “clot”, we know that the very science inherent in Creation-Law shows us that for most creatures on earth --- including humans --- life cannot emerge until and unless male sperm and a female egg unite. Perfect unity! Blood, of course, must be there too; we certainly well-know that, for not much works without blood!

That is one aspect of the above verse. A second and perhaps more important one is M.M. Ali’s claim --- which we may probably safely assume the whole Muslim world would agree with --- is that “...the Prophet would raise humanity to the greatest eminence morally and spiritually”?

Clearly, that did not happen. However, it was not because Mohammed did not fulfil his mission! No: The blame for non-fulfilment, as with the other two of the “big three”, must be placed squarely at the feet of “Islamist followers of little understanding”.

So despite all the great religious works that humanity possesses and even reveres --- including the Koran --- humanity is morally and spiritually bankrupt, with no real understanding of the true meaning of the great word: SPIRITUAL!

Nonetheless, let us continue and note Ali’s attempt at justifying the following:

Verse 96:1. “Read in the name of thy Lord Who creates, a -----“

‘ The Arabs were an unmi people, a people who made no use of reading and writing, with very rare exceptions, and the Prophet himself did not know reading or writing, yet the very first revelation he received from on High was a command to read. ..... The order to read is repeated in v. 3 with the addition of the words that thy Lord is most Generous, to show that it is through reading and writing that man can attain to a position of glory, while v. 4 says that it is by use of the pen that knowledge can be acquired. The words in the name of thy Lord signify by the help of thy Lord. The use of the word Rabb, (Nourisher unto perfection) is to show that revelation was being granted to the Prophet, to bring him, and through him the whole of humanity, to perfection. The circumstances attending this first revelation are met with in trustworthy, and from these it appears that the Holy Prophet’s first reply to the angel who brought this message was that he was unable to read.’

And now verse 96:4, i.e., ‘Who taught by the pen,a

Ali’s commentary on Verse 4 a:

The mention of the pen in this, the very first, revelation of the Holy Prophet, is significant, and it not only indicates, as Rodwell says, “the powerful help for propagating the knowledge of the Divine Unity” which the Holy Prophet was to find in the pen, but signifies as well that the pen should be specially used in guarding the revelation (*) which was to be granted to the Holy Prophet. (*) It is a fact that the pen has played an important part in the propagation of Islam as well as in the protection of the Qur’an (**) against corruption of every sort. (**) The frequent mention of writing and the pen in the Holy Qur’an, and particularly in connection with the revelation of the Holy Prophet, is rather striking when it is borne in mind that not only was the use of writing a rare novelty in the Arabian peninsula, but the Prophet was himself unacquainted with writing and reading.

(*) ‘guarding the revelation which was to be granted to the Holy Prophet’.

My commentary:
Unlike all the great Teachings ordained by God in the past that are now just distorted shadows of what they once were; The All-Truth of Imanuel/Abd-ru-shin --- written by His Hand --- means that with His Sublime Work brought to earth for all of global humanity, those kinds of previous distortions are no longer possible!

In the case of the above verse, in the strangest of paradoxes, could we use Islam’s mantra about “guarding the revelation” and therewith apply protection to the Divine Knowledge contained in The Grail Message -- precisely through the “use of the pen”, or keyboard? Yes, we certainly can!

(**) ‘protection of the Qur’an against corruption of every sort’.

In a previous Discourse we looked at the Qur’an to determine “whose” words really are in that book. As is very obvious throughout this Work, we have also shown, in just too many places, how completely illogical both Koranic verse and commentary are therein for that particular “work” to be even remotely considered as being “verbatim from God”!

So despite “the use of the pen” in Islamic history to ostensibly “guard the revelation against corruption”; nonetheless, corrupted it certainly is.

That corruption, however, is also the greatest indictment, against the religion, and all its followers. For it is exactly about why this Work has especial ordination ---- the inexcusable denigration, rejection and denial of that with the Prophet, Mohammed knew to be absolutely true, and about which he instructed his family in the knowledge of:

That Jesus was not just a prophet, not just the son of Mary, but
The True Son of God!

It is precisely on that one inviolable, immutable fact that all of global
humanity will either ascend; or fall to destruction!

In terms of the world’s religions, by their teachings and actions; thereby do they set their final path!

“I set before you life and death. Therefore choose life that you and your posterity may live.” (Bible quote.)

Even with that clear choice, however, we still have the Great Prophet’s sure warning to us in this present time of: “Few men left”!

Reader: What you will now learn, Islam will condemn outright. The present-day narrative, actually set-in-place a long time ago but added to in distortion after distortion since, will probably provide one more platform for further “hate against infidels” that Islam’s offshoots of murderous, quite religiously-insane, zealots seem to need in order to show their kind of “reverence”.

So, what does the Akashic Record --- the “Book of Life” for the Islamic nation --- really say? What exactly does Mohammed’s life reveal about his “writing thing”? The “Muslim mantra” says that even in adulthood Mohammed could not read or write, and only after the revelation that he was to receive the Truth from God was he “commanded to read”.

To understand what really happened in the Prophet’s life, we need to begin at his birth; not the birth of religious myth, but as it was --- forever imprinted onto the “Pages of Time”, The Book of Life!

We will necessarily abridge the major content, but from out of which we nonetheless reveal the relevant facts of the Prophet’s life. We begin on page 10:

‘Shortly before Muhammad’s birth Abdallah, while on a business journey, had been attacked by bandits and fatally wounded. The dying man had been brought as far as Mecca; but he was no longer alive when he reached his father’s house, where he lived with his young wife. At the bier of the departed one, Amina had collapsed.
She was ill for a long time, and during this serious illness her little son saw the light of this world.....
It was to Amina’s shock and sorrow that the doctors ascribed the weak health of the boy, who in spite of the best care did not seem to thrive. ..... Muhammad was a pale, delicate unhappy child, who liked best to go his own way.’ ..........................
Page 11 “You sent for me, mother.”
“Sit down my son and listen: Your grandfather is coming here to talk to me about you. I know that he has in mind to send you to school. But you still do not feel well, and you are tired, isn’t it so?”
“I am usually tired, Mother, but that does not matter. Let me go to school, I beg you!”
“What are you thinking of Mohammed? The noise and the rudeness of so many boys could harm you. They would make fun of you, because you look pale, and have so little strength.”
   Indignantly the boy interrupted:
“I shall never grow into a man if I stay at home! Among the others I shall grow strong. I want to learn, I must learn. I want to become a clever man! I shall tell Grandfather I shall be very glad to go to school.” ...
“What do you intend to do with this great learning, Mohammed?” inquired his mother...
“Why do I want to learn, Mother?” asked Mohammed ... “I want to be a merchant, but not one of the minor ones. I want to become the greatest merchant in all Syria and Arabia, and everywhere around. ... For that I must be able to read and write, and above all to calculate. No one shall cheat me, Mother!”
Pages 15-16: Abd al Muttalib entered with dignity. ... Slowly he began to speak... Having said all that required explaining, he concluded:
“Therefore you see, widow of my son, it is time to send Mohammed to school.”
“In which school have you entered him, Father of my husband”?
“Here we have only two schools. The one is attended by noble families, but the teachers are fetish-followers and know nothing; the other belongs to our temple, and Rabbi Ben Marsoch is a thoroughly learned man. Since Mohammed was born into a Jewish family, he shall also be brought up in this faith!”
“Mohammed is a Christian: for I his mother am of this faith!” Amina now interrupted him impetuously.
“Until now I have let you do as you like with him; for I knew it was only for a short time that the boy would grow up in the women’s apartment. Now he will leave it, and his education is in my hands. And I am a Jew!”
The master of the house had spoken. There was nothing left but to obey.

Now, reader: The notion that Mohammed the Prophet of Islam was exposed to both Jewish and Christian teachings should not come as a surprise to Muslims today. Syria had long been exposed to Jewish thought, and the Disciples of Jesus also travelled widely throughout the region teaching His Message, which later became the Christian faith. Remember: Mohammed did not enter into his mission until well into adulthood so would have been very conversant with both the Jewish and Christian faiths.

That means a long lead-time before his Calling to Prophethood so that he could become fully educated and well-read; so not an ignorant, uneducated, tribal “desert urchin” as Islam wants us all to believe. Quite obviously, therefore, the religion of Islam was not what young Arabian boys were exposed to, for it was not there until Mohammed’s Calling in his adulthood.

Let us seriously hammer home that obvious historical reality, which I have to believe very many Muslims have not ever thought about. Mohammed was not born “Mohammed the Prophet” ready to serve God directly from his cradle and into his young life. So: Crucial reinforcement!

Muslims of today, you must all surely understand that during the young Mohammed’s formative years and education, there was no “Religion of Islam” --- for he would bring that to the various peoples of Arabia as a grown man! In addition, precisely because there was very obviously no “Religion of Islam” the many diverse peoples of the wider region were quite naturally exposed to all the other teachings and religions that were taught at the time --- including Judaism and Christianity.

That means --- again --- that there were no Muslim families in Arabia then. That concomitantly means: Mohammed was not born, could not possibly be born, as a Muslim! Reader: We sincerely hope that the Islamic world fully understands that very obvious and incontrovertible Truth!

Page 20: ...‘He grew physically strong under male discipline. The temple school in Mecca not only provided for the intellect of its charges, but was also concerned with the training of the body.
Besides Rabbi Ben Marsoch, the boys were taught by a young Greek, who instructed them in various arts, but particularly in games and physical exercises. For this reason distinguished families who were not of the Jewish faith were glad to send their sons to the temple school. ....
Page 21: (Sara, Mohammed’s nurse in early childhood), ‘had been able to make the boy understand that by opposing authority he was hurting himself the most.
“Learn what is offered to you, Mohammed,” she had told him countless times. “Everything will be of benefit to you if you receive it in the right way. But if you refuse to listen to what the Rabbi has to say, how will you be able to recognise what is right and what is wrong in his discourse?” ....
He yielded and became a diligent pupil.
When he was eight years old his grandfather died. ...
Mohammed had never been close to his grandfather. He was the only person whom he feared.
Now his uncle, Abu Talib, assumed responsibility for his education. ...
Abu Talib showed great love for Mohammed, and sought to supplement the education of the temple school, which was based only on intellectual knowledge, by influencing the boy’s inner nature. ...
Page 22: Abu Talib observed Mohammed’s blossoming with great joy. He divined rich treasures in the soul of this boy, and all his striving was concerned on unearthing them.’
‘It was about this time that one day at school the boy was suddenly seized with inexplicable convulsions. ... Rabbi Ben Marsoch, who thought he was possessed, prayed, but without success. No one dared touch the boy, whose tossing about was becoming more and more violent.
At last a doctor arrived. He made all arrangements for his care, saying that the convulsions were due to his over-delicate body. .... He was not to be strained in his studies. ....
The doctor then spoke to Abu Talib, who was much alarmed. In his love he found a way out.
“I am planning a long journey to Syria,” he said. “I shall take the boy with me. The change of air and the sight of so much that is new will do him good. When we return, fresh decisions can be made.”
The doctor agreed and soon they set out on their journey.

Mohammad now learns the meaning of the insignia of his tribe, for it is carried on each camel in the caravan.

Pages 22-23: ‘Mohammed ran admiringly from one [camel] to the other. He saw that the saddle-blankets all bore the same sign in the same corner; a curved sword with a coloured bird above it.
“What is that? What does it mean?” he wanted to know. Mustapha explained to him: “That is the ancestral insignia of your family, the Koreish, boy. Be proud that you will be permitted to bear it one day.
“But then it must have a meaning?” insisted Mohammed as he ran his fingers lightly along the signs.
“Of course it has a meaning: Like a bird you should soar aloft, raising yourselves above all others, and with the keenness of a sword you should know how to strike. Remember that, Mohammed.” ...’

The long caravan journey brings out the tribal/psychic beliefs of the camel drivers which alarms and offends Mohammed, thus revealing his special nature and future “Calling”.

Page 24: The first night they rode without stopping. ... It was not until the next night that tents were set up.
Mohammed watched closely what the people in the camp were doing. He saw how the drivers erected a fetish, a hideous image of stones, bones and rags, how they danced around it, and were happy to rest safely under its protection.
“Who made that thing?” Mohammed asked his uncle...
“Probably the fetish-man; we would say priest, if one who so denied God deserved that name.”
“But that thing can neither be a god nor protect man if it has issued from human hands,” Mohammed burst out, indignant at so much foolishness. “How can human beings be so stupid as to believe anything like that!”
They know no better. Nobody has spoken to them of God,” soothed Abu Talib.
“Why does no one tell them about Him?” Mohammed asked indignantly.
‘They would not understand it anyway,” was the calm reply. ....

Page 25: These new thoughts gave him no peace. In the night he quietly arose from his bed, and ... slipped out of the tent to find coolness.
There above him stretched the starry sky in its seeming infinity. Sparkling and glittering, the heavenly lights proclaimed the greatness of Him Who had created them. ...
He raised his arms spontaneously towards the splendour, and consciously his lips uttered the words he had learned at school:
“Lord, how great and how many are Thy works, which Thou hast so wisely ordered.”

TO THE MUSLIM READER

Reader; but especially you, the Muslim reader: The constantly-promoted idea that Mohammed --- the especial servant of God appointed to bring a whole people to one nation by way of a new Teaching and thus away from paganism --- would embark upon his Mission without knowing how to read or write, as a belief is both illogical and quite ludicrous.

When are you finally going to stop trying to “force” that kind of unworkable “stuff” onto the rest of the world? For by your strange belief that “Mohammed could not read or write”, you not only belittle the very God Whom you profess to revere and worship and Who Appointed your Prophet for your desert ancestors that they might know Divine Truth -- you also belittle Mohammed too!

Or are you all too obtuse and blind and thus simply “incapable of seeing” clear Truth because of what you have done to the Prophet’s once-pristine Teaching from God? Take serious note of what is now being offered you from Creation’s “Pages of Time” --- your collective “Book of Life” --- in which each one of you will have your own page!

Now to return to Mohmmed’s life! Abu Talib’s caravan continues on its journey during which the young Mohammed experiences many more soul-shaking experiences --- all to prepare him for his great task. He is very concerned about the plight of the camel-drivers whose ignorance stems from their worship of idols.

Pages 25-26: (The) thought of the poor fetish-followers recurred to him. How was it possible for the men to see the miracles of nature night after night, and still believe in their figures of straw and rags! ...
It must surely be possible to convince these people! ...
“Lord God of Israel, if no one will undertake it, then I will try as soon as I am old enough! Help me to do so!’
It was the first independent prayer that flowed from the boy’s soul, and this prayer, deeply felt on behalf of other human beings, found its way to the Throne of the Most High.

Page 28: ‘Then the landscape changed. It led gently uphill, the sandy desert lay behind the riders. ...
“Is this Syria?” asked Mohammed... Abu Talib confirmed it...
“Tomorrow we shall arrive at a Monastery where we shall find a message. ... In this monastery live only devout men who are servants of God, Mohammed. You will be glad to see them and to be allowed to talk to them.”
“Are they Jews?” was Mohammed’s eager question.
“No, they are Christians who claim that one of Christ’s Disciples once founded the community.”
“It will suit me to hear real Christians for once,” declared the boy. “Except for Sara, I have not seen any yet.”
“Do not forget, boy, that your mother was also a Christian,” admonished Abu Talib, but the reply he received was:
“Well, you know, I was young when my mother was alive, but I have always felt that her faith was not important to her. I have learned more from Sara then from her.”

Pages 29-31: The following morning they arrived at the Monastery... monks in long brown habits ... were ... tending flowers and vegetables. Then two of them came to the gate --- but only Abu Talib rode inside, while the caravan ... continued on its way.
One of the friars who had just joined them took the (camel) and led it away.
The boy began to feel uneasy. Spontaneously he gripped Abu Talib’s arm and said commandingly:
   “But you will stay here!”
This drew the monk’s attention to the young guest, and they looked at him in astonishment. (They) led their guest into the monastery, where a room had been prepared for Abu Talib.
There was much that Mohammed wanted to know: ... Abu Talib explained as well as he could.
Next morning the uncle took Mohammed to the Superior of the monastery. Abbot Paul was still a young man...
“It is as we surmised,” he then said, ... to Abu Talib, but I shall send for Father Benjamin; he will recognise better than I what is to be seen.”
The father was sent for ... and a very old man shuffled in. (At) the Abbot’s request (he) stood beside him and addressed Mohammed:
“Of what belief are you, my son?”
   (Without) thinking (Mohammed) replied:
“I am of the belief that help must be given to the fetish-worshipers.”
...Abu Talib, embarrassed by the boy’s answer, turned to him, saying:
“You have misunderstood the father’s question. He wanted to know what faith you belong, whether you are a pagan, a Jew, or a Christian.”
   Mohammed looked at the father.
“I am nothing”, he replied calmly.
(The Abbot): “Surely you were born into some religion, and instructed in it.”...
   Mohammed shook his head...
“I was born a Christian, but I have not yet known any real Christians. Afterwards I grew up among Jews, and was taught by Jews, but together with fetish-followers. I am not a Christian, and I do not want to be a Jew; for that faith has come to a halt and cannot go any further. Then I found God, I all by myself. Now I can only say I am Mohammed, who believes in God.”
(Emphases mine).

TO THE JEWISH READER

Jewish reader: Note my emphasis precisely about you and your long religious history. Mohammed, as a young boy, knew that to be fact. Yet, today, with your new modern state of Israel --- as we have said more than once --- all gathered together and living your foolish mindset where you believe you are still the “chosen of God”; all waiting for a “messiah” that you will never ever see!

Pages 31-33: Father Benjamin turned again to the boy and asked:
“By what have you recognised that He Whom you have found really is God?”
   Like lightning came the reply:
   “By His Greatness and Omnipotence.”
As he spoke these words it seemed to Mohammed as though he were being lifted on high. He felt dizzy. He saw wide spheres expanding, brightness surrounded him.
It lasted only a few minutes, then he was himself again, but a great feeling of inner happiness filled him.
A younger father entered, and was told to show Mohammed the monastery garden. When the two had left the room, Father Benjamin said thoughtfully:
“It is as we expected, according to the tidings we received: this boy is a special one. God the Lord has chosen him to carry the knowledge of Him into furthest regions. He is to become a Truth-bringer, not only to his people but to countless men on earth.”
“Will you leave the boy with us, Abu Talib?” asked the Abbot. “We would like to form his soul. It is true that we have never yet had so young a pupil in the monastery, but then never has a special one come our way before.”
Mohammed was allowed to take his meals with the youngest pupils, and also to share their lessons, after an examination showed that he had been excellently prepared at the temple school in Mecca.
Soon he came to be called the “little scribe”, an expression which Mohammed resented. He did want to be “learned as a scribe”; to be “learned in how to live” seemed to him better.
Since he still had many a free hour during the day when the others had to work hard to acquire the knowledge which he already possessed, it was decided that in his free time he should help the gardener. --------------

ISLAM and ALL MUSLIMS

There, in that discussion, imprinted for all time on the matrix of the Book of Life, lies the great problem the billion and a half plus of you and your religion face. Let’s repeat what must be understood in its clear Truth:

Mohammed was not brought up in the Islamic faith because --- nauseatingly obviously --- Islam was not there for him to be raised in!

Despite that being a clear reality, we are sure that many Muslims still somehow strangely believe that Mohammed simply had to have been a Muslim from birth. Sorry: NO!

It should therefore be considered perfectly natural that devout monks of the faiths preceding Islam who were tasked with Mohammed’s education could intuitively know that he, even as young boy, was destined to one day become an especial Servant of God.

Here is a key question for disbelieving or even hesitant Muslims: Why would the sure guidance and Grace of God not place Mohammed, His future servant, in exactly the right hands so that he could be educated and thus better prepared and learned for that high task?

“He could not read or write” is a terrible lie! Let us say it again: It is one carefully formulated by cunning “religious Muslim manipulators” to ostensibly elevate the “religion of Islam” to a place it does not occupy, indeed, cannot ever occupy. In addition, by continuing to promote that lie, you all denigrate the very person of Mohammed, as well as his great mission!

The true story of Mohammed from Creation’s Book of Life tells us that whilst at the monastery: “he worked in his cell at a self-imposed task; he wrote down those Jewish doctrines which seemed to him to be fulfilled through the Christian ones.”

Before we close the “educational phase” of the Prophet’s life, let’s look at one more telling reference to his ability “to read and write”. It is well-accepted that at a young age Mohammed married an older woman, Khadija --- which fact the Akashic Record well-confirms --- and that he became a successful merchant under her guidance. From page 54, we quote a small inclusion to strengthen the fact of Mohammed’s literacy whilst with Khadija.

As diligently as Mohammed applied himself during business hours to the development of the trade, so regularly did he retire to his room as soon as the (trading) hall was closed. All invitations from the woman to eat or go visiting with her, he refused.
She would like to have known how he spent his leisure hours, but he did not speak about it, and no amount of questioning helped.
Then one day he was hurriedly called to his uncle, who had something of importance to tell him. The message was so urgent that Mohammed left the room without putting his work away.
Khadija slipped in, but was bitterly disappointed to find only papers covered with written characters which she could not decipher, because they were in Hebrew. But at least she knew now that he devoted himself to some form of study.

How did your “religion” ever reach the point of relegating your especial Prophet to one of illiterate ignorance? After all, he was appointed by God! Do you really think that The Creator of All the Worlds would have it your way; the way that you have been so-long conditioned to believe; that Mohammed was an illiterate “peasant”?

From that incontrovertible “Record”, here we close the educational phase of Mohammed’s life. Global Islam, the names that today you are familiar with in Mohammed’s life are all there, recorded on “The Chronicle”! You will yet hear more about the key people in the Prophet’s life as we continue his “true narrative”!

All you good “Muslim believers” can finally wake up from what has long-been a delusional narrative set-in-place by Imams and Caliphs more concerned with religious control and personal desire to increase earthly power, influence, and wealth too!

Now you can truly awaken --- if you have the “spiritual courage” to reject the terrible distortions that you have lived with and accepted for over a thousand years.

Because now, the next discourse will expose the Truth about the most problematic “religious tenet” of all for Islam!

So: Long before he was ever aware that he was to be the Prophet for the Arabian peoples, Mohammed could not only read and write well, but he well-understood the true Mission of Jesus, The Son of God!

READ CAREFULLY! HOPEFULLY, YOU WILL REJOICE!
IF NOT, YOUR SPIRIT WILL SURELY WEEP!

DISCOURSE 39

MOHAMMED’S RECOGNITION OF
JESUS:

A BRUTAL “REVELATION” FOR ISLAM!

ISLAM’S GREATEST MISTAKE!

Perhaps of all the distortions that the many millions of followers of Mohammed cling to, this would probably be the most contentious. For on it rests the very essence of the Title of this Work --- The “global battle” for “Ownership” of The Spirit of Truth!

So: From the actual life of Mohammed, let us shortly find out what he knew and understood about Jesus. Our narrative for this “false Islamic tenet” will follow the same format as with the previous Discourse. It will, however, also reveal serious resonance to the terrible Christian distortion that The Son of God came all the way down to earth to die just to save them from their rotten sins.

First, however, let us hear from the Divine Power of The Grail Message of Abd-ru-shin --- The Eternal Mediator --- for all of global humanity!

WORLD EVENTS

There is no greater danger to a cause than to leave a gap in its presentation which needs filling up, as may often be intuitively sensed. It is of no avail to pass it over, because such a gap hinders all progress. --------------------------
Such is the case with the various Christian religious communities of today. They persistently close their eyes and ears to certain points in their teaching which can be sensed as illogical. They try to dismiss them with empty phrases instead of taking thought in all seriousness.
They readily apprehend the danger that one day the temporary bridges they have built over such gaps through a teaching of blind faith will no longer suffice, and they dread the moment when enlightenment will show up the flimsy character of these structures. ------------------------
They also realise that a single flash of fresh truth must sweep away such artificial constructions.
Still, for want of something better, they seek to maintain their swaying plank in spite of every danger. Even worse, they are prepared to defend their position by every means in their power, and would destroy him who dared to provide a firmer crossing over the gap through the Truth Itself! Without any hesitation they would try to repeat what occurred here on earth nearly two thousand years ago, and which still casts its shadow right down to the present day. -
It was the church dignitaries and scholars of that time, with their narrow dogmatism and a conceit which betrayed their weakness, who were unable to recognise the Truth and the Son of God. They also closed themselves against it, hating and persecuting Him and His followers out of envy and fear, whereas other people more readily opened themselves to the recognition and were quicker to perceive the Truth of the Word.
Although the present heads of Christian religious communities lay special stress on the Son of God’s path of suffering, they have learned and profited nothing from this fact. It is just the present leaders of communities based on Christ’s teaching, as well as the leaders of newer movements, who would today try to eliminate any man who, by revealing the Truth Itself, could endanger the swaying bridges over the precarious gaps in their teachings and interpretations. They would persecute him with a hatred born of fear, and even more of vanity, exactly as happened before.
They would lack the greatness to endure the fact that their own knowledge was insufficient to enable them to recognise the Truth and fill the gaps, and thus help to smooth the path for mankind towards an easier understanding and complete grasping of It.
And yet it is only possible for mankind to ascend by fully grasping the Truth; but they can never do so by blind ignorant faith!

Imanuel/Abd-ru-shin: “SON OF MAN”
And “ETERNAL MEDIATOR”!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

So Islam and Christianity: In this case truly “strange but irrevocably-linked bedfellows” and, through Mohammed’s recognition of Jesus as The Son of God that you will now learn, both forever-connected to his life and mission as it actually was. Perhaps this is where you can find areas of mutual “religious accommodation”?

Though, of course, reader, even a quite recent and tenuous, internationally-televised attempt at exactly that “accommodation” between Islam and Catholicism made no headway. How could it? For neither the “scholars of Islam” nor the Pope would, or could, ever accept the irrevocable and inviolable Truths about both Jesus and Mohammed, forever imprinted on Creation’s “Book of Life”!

So we will let them go their way into deeper ignorance, to the day when their distorted, religious worlds are shattered forever! In this Section we return to the earlier part of the young Mohammed’s life and pick up his first “Jesus-connection” when he is to leave his mother to attend school. From page 13:

“You will have to get used to the thought, Mistress (Amina), that the boy has outgrown his infancy. If he is to become a man he must pass from the women’s apartments into the hands of men.”
“But Sara, I see great danger for him in the choice of school. ... Mohammed is not yet firm in our faith. He will cast it aside like an old garment.”
“And whose fault is that, Mistress,” asked Sara...
Mohammed, who apparently had not been listening, turned to the servant who was sitting beside him on the floor.
“You are right, Sara”, he said fondly. “From Mother I could not learn all that, but you have shown me, you good soul!”
“How can you judge me so unkindly, my son?” she asked reproachfully.
“Who has prayed with you since you were old enough to say a prayer? Who has spoken to you of Jesus the crucified One?”
“You have done that, Mother,” was Mohammed’s quick reply. “But while you held the murdered Truth-Bringer before my eyes, Sara taught me to love the Luminous Son of God, Who out of love for men came as a little child in a manger. While you taught me in a language neither of us understands, Sara led me to His feet to utter my requests.”

Let us restate an absolute truism here! Do not regard what you have just read as some kind of “ancient fairy tale”! Do not treat it with derision and contempt! What is being revealed in this Section for the Muslim faith is an aspect of Creation that was there at its inception; the fabric, the matrix, upon which all things are recorded ---- including any rejection of The Truth by you!

The religious upbringing of Mohammed as a young child is no different to what has always been the case in the various cultures historically. Whatever the religion of the culture, nation, or region might be, it is naturally the one that children will be taught. And for the young Mohammed, the two religions that held greatest sway there, then --- Judaism and Christianity --- were obviously what he was exposed to. For, as we reinforce, there was obviously no religion of Islam then! That was decades away.

So at the very earliest time, Mohammed knew for a fact what the two primary religions of the time for over a millennia have refused to accept, the reality of “a” murdered Son of God! The narrative continues:

After a short silence, Amina spoke again.
“Be that as it may, if only you believe. If only you love Jesus I shall be satisfied. But tell me, my son, will this love stand up to the mockery and the influence of your school-fellows?”
“We shall see Mother. I cannot tell yet. If belief in Jesus is the truth, as you both say, then it will triumph over all else. If it is not, then it may safely perish.”

Notwithstanding the fact that Amina was Christian, she had consented to Mohammed becoming a Jew, “but it made no impression on him”. In this period of early schooling, Mohammed “absorbed all he could”. But here we begin to see the real beginnings of why he was chosen to bring Truth to a region of the world thus far dominated by tribal chiefs and paganism. In school now, his “awakening spirit” induces him to strongly question the status quo --- the religious conditioning endemic within that society. To this present-day, what has changed? Well reader; the only thing that has is the huge increase in the number of religions since Mohammed’s time. From page 20:

When the teachers spoke of the promised Messiah, an unchildlike smile passed over his face. He knew that the Messiah had already appeared and had been murdered by the people. To Sara (his nurse) too he always emphatically said “murdered”.
She admonished him and told him that his death on the cross had been willed by God. Then one day he burst out impetuously:
“If that is so, Sara, then you take away even my belief in God! What father would voluntarily allow his child to be murdered? And God, as I hear Him proclaimed, is better than all the fathers in the world. But you want to drag Him down!”
Sara looked horrified at the boy who dared to have an opinion of his own, different from everyone else.
“Mohammed, hold fast to God, I beg you!” she pleaded. “It is my fault that you are not allowed to become a Christian, so at least become a proper Jew!”
“I do not know about that yet, Sara,” said Mohammed emphatically. “I cannot become a Jew for the sake of my dead mother, when nothing in me speaks in favour of it. But just as little can I become a Christian for your sake ....” “Indeed, if one could bring both religions together that would please me!”

Popes past and present, Cardinals, Bishops, Ministers, Chaplains, Rabbis, Imams, Shamans, all PhD’s and Bible scholars and whoever else fancies themselves knowledgeable in the true Word of God; the “Prophet for Islam” at the earliest age knew what you all have never ever grasped ------- The Truth about Jesus and His Mission “down here”!

We now shift the narrative about Mohammed to his time at the monastery. Take serious note here too! From page 33:

He had been given permission to ask anything that seemed obscure to him. One of the first questions concerned Christ’s death on the cross.
“Why did God the Almighty allow His Son to be murdered?” he inquired urgently.
The monks looked at each other in embarrassment. One of them reproved him for such thoughts.
“You must not speak of murder in this case,” he said. “Jesus Christ died to bring mankind redemption from their sin.”
“I do not believe that”, retorted the boy emphatically. “The Son of God brought salvation to men in His Being and His Word. His death only increased the guilt of men enormously. I can understand that God the Lord did not wish to pull men back from the abyss. To Him they were too evil. But that He should allow His Son to become a sacrifice is inconceivable, and not in keeping with His nature.”
“There are still many things which you will not understand,” was the Abbot’s unsatisfactory reply.

Reader; “out of the mouths of babes”, or, in this case, a young boy; albeit a most special one! Note the Abbot’s reply uttered roughly1,400 years ago and forever imprinted on the Pages of Time. The same thing is still being said in this 21st century by ‘the-far-too-many’ so-called “religious experts” flooding the planet, when they cannot even provide answers to the “great questions”.

Let us look at a little more at this phase of Mohammed’s education. Then we can proceed with this Truth about Mohammed securely anchored in our spirits. And one more carefully-contrived Muslim “mantra” that an especial Servant and Prophet of God “could not read or write” will have thus been destroyed. From pages 34 to 44:

One day (a) young teacher explained to the pupils the necessity of monastic discipline. Without it, everyone would do as he chose; for God had indeed given men free will to do as they pleased according to their volition; but man did not know how to make good use of it; hence he must be subject to earthly discipline.
The expression “free will” set something alight. Mohammed could hardly withhold himself from asking further questions about it during the lesson. But when the instruction was over Mohammed sought out the father and asked his questions, which gave evidence of an alert inner life.
The monk made sincere efforts to bring peace to the boy’s soul... (for) he could enter into Mohammed’s world of thoughts.
“Just think father,” Mohammed cried enthusiastically, “free will is one of the greatest gifts of God to mankind! If we use it rightly we can swing ourselves on high, whereas otherwise we would be bound.”
The teacher did not reply. This flight of thought was too lofty. But the boy continued.
“So God did not intervene either when Christ was murdered, because He wanted to let men experience the consequences of their own free will. Truly He is great beyond human thinking! And I, the fool, wanted to reproach Him for just that!”
“Think what you are saying, boy! How can you allow yourself to speak thus of the Highest!” said the teacher angrily, because he was no longer able to follow the thoughts of this young person.
“But I only regret my previous way of thinking,” Mohammed defended himself.
But the father went to the Abbot to inform him of the conversation.
“I have already told you, Father Jacob,” smiled the Superior, “that Mohammed is an exceptional boy. ..... Do not discourage him, otherwise he will lose confidence in you, in us all. That would be bad, because then we could no longer watch over what is going on within him.”
After this conversation, however, the Abbot decided to take the upbringing and education of the boy into his own hands. ...
Mohammed liked this and made the utmost use of the opportunity offered him. ...
Abbot Paul never rebuked him for any daring utterance; but neither did he ever acknowledge that he was unable to follow the high-flying thoughts of the pupil.
He had long since been permitted to look into the writings of Mohammed, and was surprised at how clearly the boy perceived the differences between the two kinds of faith.
In this way more than a year elapsed. ... One day Abbot Paul asked:
“Now, Mohammed, you have come to know faithful Christians. You have compared our teachings with those of the Jews. Which of them do you feel drawn to; would you like to be a Christian or a Jew?”
“Neither the one nor the other,” confessed Mohammed, frankly.
“Judaism as it was in the beginning is wonderful. But then men have spoiled it, and now it has come to a standstill, because the fools are still waiting for the Messiah, instead of recognising that He has already walked on earth. Now Judaism will never advance. It has cut off its own life.”
“And Christianity?” encouraged the Abbot, ... “how do you regard Christianity?”
“It would be the continuation of Judaism,” Mohammed said thoughtfully. “It has recognised the Messiah, but it does not make the right use of this recognition.”
“Boy, what do you mean by that?” asked the Abbot horrified.
“You have recognised Christ as the Son of God, Who brings salvation. But now you argue over which of you has seen Him rightly. You make this recognition a matter of the intellect instead of the spirit. Instead of striving higher through the Truth He brought, you remain standing in the same place, and let the Truth slip through your hands until it is completely worn away.”
Expression and speech were no longer those of a child. ...
Beside himself, the Abbot glared at the speaker, whom he was hardly able to follow any more.
“That does not come from you, boy!” he cried. “Who has told you all this. Who has taught you to think in this way?”

Mohammed tells the Abbot that the perceptions have come to him through prayer. Abbot Paul decides that Mohammed has become too outspoken, but Mohammed, in a clear sign of his eventual Calling to Prophethood, replies:

“Abbot Paul, do you not think that I was sent to your monastery to show you this? Sometimes God makes use even of a lowly instrument... Listen to me; for I know that God allows you to be told through me: banish intellectual Christianity from your heart, from your monastery, and receive what the spirit offers you!”

With that admonition, “banish intellectual Christianity from your heart”, the Abbot decides to punish Mohammed, but during the night he hears his name called. The voice commands him to leave the monastery that very night and walk in the direction “of the sunrise”, to a town and inquire after a Brother Cyril. Mohammed quietly left the monastery. Upon arrival in the town, Mohammed was pointed in the direction of the house of Brother Cyril, the dwelling of which he would recognise by an imposing front gate. Upon calling out that he was seeking the “pious Brother Cyril”, an old man stepped out...

“Then you are the pious Brother Cyril?” affirmed Mohammed.
“I am he, and you must be Mohammed, my new pupil, whom God the Lord has promised me.”

Mohammed was taught by Brother Cyril for five years. At the end of the fifth year, Mohammed accompanied Brother Cyril to the city of Halef where a speaker was to address the people there. Mohammed was initially pleasantly surprised to hear that it was his uncle Abu Talib, whom he now discovered was a public speaker.

However, Mohammed was shocked to hear the content of his uncle’s speech; (today we would refer to it as “geo-politics”). Mohammed hears a strong voice of opposition to his uncles “ideas” for Syria and the wider region.

“Do not believe him, he is a Jew!” a piercing voice suddenly cried.
“He wants to win all peoples for his God, and make them obedient to him! We cannot allow that. I am a faithful son of Arabia; and for that very reason I will not surrender it to the Jews.”
“You are mistaken, priest,” the calm voice of Abu Talib replied. “I was certainly born of Jewish parents, but I have recognised that it is more important to help the people on earth to greatness and happiness, to unity and strength, than to worship an invisible God, Whom perhaps we shall not be allowed to see even in the beyond.”
   “Stop, you blasphemer!”
The words rang shrilly over the wide square. Everyone must have heard them.
The speaker paled. Before him stood his nephew whom he had believed dead, the boy had blossomed into a youth; of whom the monks had said that he was destined to be a Truth-bringer. A shudder seized the man.
   Mohammed continued to call out:
“The invisible God, Whom Abu Talib denies although he once worshipped Him, is in our midst! He created us all, therefore He is our Lord.” ...
   A great commotion arose.
“Who is this youth who dares to speak at an assembly of men?” some shouted incensed, while others voiced agreement with what Mohammed had said.
The already roused tempers became heated, which led to acts of violence,...
Abu Talib and several of his adherents had disappeared before the actual affray started. ...
